How does ShareMedix work?

ShareMedix allows to anonymize different kind of data types: medical images, videos, text documents and pictures. Data formats that can be processed are i.e. DICOM, Jpeg, png, bmp, webp, mp4, mov, avi, mpeg/mpg or pdf.
ShareMedix is an intuitive web application. All you need to start anonymizing and sharing the data is stable internet connection and a web browser like Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari.
To anonymize the medical data the user has to drag and drop the files, or browse and select the chosen ones to be uploaded to the AI application. The application automatically detects the data type and applies one of the specially trained AI algorithms to detect personally identifiable information (PII). Using ShareMedix you can anonymize more than 70 different personal information types, including for example names, addresses, personal IDs, IBAN, faces, whole silhouettes and more. Afterwards the automatic anonymization the results can be reviewed and the anonymization can be adapted or removed if required.
Sharing medical data with patients, doctors and insurance companies in a secure way has never been easier. You can just check the chosen files, such as anonymized DICOM or anonymized videos, decide with whom and how long you want to share and that’s it. Our additional encryption mechanisms give you additional layer of security, which can be even more extended by setting additional password. You have full control of your data – meaning that you can any time check with whom you have shared your medical data such as anonymized patient documentation or anonymized surveillance cameras videos, and extend or revoke the access.
