Many hospitals and medical facilities face issues connected with data requests from patients about their own data. The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) regulation, under Article 15 gives individuals the right to request a copy of any of their personal data which are being processed by the controller, including also data collected by medical facilities, such as medical documentation, medical images or even monitoring videos.
